The Blind Man Society

Feeling a bit like Ray Bradbury’s, The Illustrated Man today! It’s so hot, that the ink is bleeding off the pages onto my arm.

What’s on my arm seems to read: If I think back REAL hard, I can remember a time when I was not wrong about everything. The heat is making my arm sweat, the ink is blurring, the Ralphie Decoder Ring message seems to be fading.

I’m also thinking about the book Commander Toad, and Mr. Hop who sits there thinking his cool green thoughts. People keep asking, where are the pictures of Badger the Springer Spaniel?!? Think Hop, think! But today, Mr. Hop is all thought out…. Alas, I have no cookies to lure Badger for a photo op.

What I AM fairly certain of though as I sit out here, is that it is HOTTER THAN HELL today. Around here people are active early morning and sundown. During the day, almost nobody is out here. Two more months to go!

Finally, I’m thinking about the idea of the number three. I was talking with someone recently, about cars, trains, airplanes. And, homelessness, backpacking and motels, and hotels. This is coming in a future couple blogs – that I am way behind on!

Hope everyone is having a great day out there, staying cool, and using their Super Positive Idiot brand sunblock liberally today. SPI 42 is highly recommended.

Parting thought: Thinking about the ideas of striking while the iron is hot, as well as catching lightning in a bottle. And, following this train of thought, being the Captain of a Ship in a Bottle. The bottle, being technology….
