Random thoughts….

I ran into the coffee shop this morning, stiff armed a few customers out of the way, raced to the bar and used my arm to clear it in a single sweeping motion…where, I pulled out the container I was carrying and removed and unrolled a map that contained THE PLAN. Again.

Two customers managed to get phone calls off, so I don’t have much time to say:

Well, sitting here thinking about the ideas of Revolution. Not physically, where people are affected, but the idea that its the spark that starts the fire. I don’t know that it was ever meant to be a really long-term thing. A catalyst for new thinking and new directions. Also, is it the result of being in a circle too long, was the circle too perfect, yada yada yada… Chewing on ideas today a lot over coffee.

I was re-reading Carlos Castaneda’s book Don Juan, A Yaqui Way of Knowledge again recently. I may never have wanted to be anybody but myself, but I have to say…being a Shaman/Medicine Man would be pretty darn cool! First, you must make a friend of things…

We are back to Africa for a moment this morning. I know I’ve become like Al Bundy with his four touchdowns in one high school football game with Africa stories, BUT…

I’m sitting here remembering Lesotho, and the mountains there. We were so excited to be there, that we climbed a mountain in one day, slap happy and snarly and laughing by turns. The below photo is from that day…and it was a magic one.

Thinking about calling people Howler Monkeys still this morning, and remembering carrying a few slingshots over there too!

So – I’m sitting here thinking about turning hourglasses over. Some, think that once the hourglass runs out, you are outta time. Others, that you turn it over and start again older and wiser.

I still like freezing time by standing in front of the refrigerator late at night, staring vacantly at food and fun things that SHOULD be there. But, are not.

Things have been very busy since I got home this last month from traveling. I haven’t had a lot of time to write, so I’m sitting here today very rusty and climbing back into the saddle with all speed!

I hope the readers have been well, wherever you may be out there in the world, and I will be putting out another couple blogs in the next day or two – these days, I’ve been sticking with FB and my journal, and there is PLENTY to write about once again!
