This afternoon, I’m sitting here thinking about Pinky and the Brain. They are lab rats that live in a cage and plot to take over the world every night. I found THE BEST image of them yesterday and thank goodness was able to legally share it to Facebook without getting nailed for Copyright Infringement. So, those two merry pranksters are on my mind today.
I was just listening to the Immigrant Song by Led Zeppelin, and picturing what it would be like to shout the cries from that song into a fan on full blast: EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWW! I am merely a humble fan, but being from Milwaukee, Wisconsin that song holds a special place in my heart! Its the perfect song to blast at home, at work, in your car, and on your cell phone turned up to 74 in public. You WILL make people move.
I was looking at iStock photos yesterday for a couple blogs I’m working on, and punched in the search criteria: Really BAD Karaoke singers and the result were absolutely hilarious. They ranged from misguided wedding singers clearing the room, to people in the midst of existential angst and venting rage. The facial expressions were just priceless.

So, I’m working on coffee mugs at last for the site merchandise today, and I’ve got the logo, I found the mugs, and by the beginning of next month, hope to have some for sale. It will be through a PayPal link on the site and secure and I cannot wait to get the wheels turning on this one. This is going to be SO cool!
Thank you to everyone who took the time to read Emotional Intelligence, the last blog I put out yesterday on the site. This was from a brilliant guest writer who chose to remain anonymous. And the numbers on analytics support the fact that this person knows what they are talking about!

I am very excited today because I might possibly get my travel journals back from 20 years ago. I thought they were lost, but the box may have been found – and if it has been, I will have ammo for a book on travel at last. It also has my PADI dive books and logs, and the membership cards that went missing back then. Ah! So thrilled.
Well, I just put on Wild Child by The Doors – a lesser known song by them, but one that figured in heavily to my time as a Platoon Sergeant and Drill Sergeant at Military Academy. There were about 386 of these contained in gate and walls there, and I made 387. Most people laugh after meeting me because I am so laid back and quieter – but I used to shout my head off back then at 17. I was no stranger to losing my voice and squeaking a lot before I learned to use my diaphragm to let people have it.

I am busy today doing work on the site. The Conversational Topics are being streamlined, and the next couple blogs are going to be a bit more professional than my usual Coffee Shop Wisdom. And, I cannot wait! I’m working on a blog right now about Rooftop Gardens, which, I think are about the coolest thing ever – aesthetically, and for the health and environmental benefits. So, more great things to come. The target is to have three blogs a week.
Thank you so much for reading today, and for taking the time to read the blogs on the site. We are in Season 7 now. I omitted Season 6 for personal reasons. Can you believe, its been two years since the site got launched. And, there are seom veteran readers who have hung in there the whole way – to them, I wanted to thank you sincerely because the journey would not have been the same or nearly a great without all of you. Gone are the days, of a website that looked like they were testing missles on it, and now its onward and upward from here again.
Have a fantastic day, everyone wherever you may be, and issuing a call for random acts of kindness, and positivity and paying it forward today. Tip your local artists in the neighborhood if you see them performing – they are serious local flavor, and take care! Please feel free to leave your comments in teh box below!
