I’m sitting here thinking about the rule, from the JW book of facts and figures, that you should not write longer than six months at a time. I went for almost a year, and – creatively speaking – I’m on fumes. When you wake up daily, feeling like somebody spiked your coffee with some sort of fish paralyzer, well…some would take it as a sign.
So, its back to writing about mundane topics like fine art, monster trucks and blowdart poisons in my spare time only. I love having no pressure and low expectations placed upon me. It gives me some freedom to move, and breathing room for good things to happen.
Hope everyone is having a great night out there around the world, I’m over at the shop just chilling out, and for the first time in a LONG time, not worrying about cranking out entertaining, thought provoking, writing. And, this is kind of nice. ![]()
Time to stop off where strange things are ALWAYS afoot, and grab a chocolate, boston-creme filled donut and think about some s**t on the walk home… lol!

AND, a thought about the question: Does life imitate art, or does art imitate life? I think, this is an hourglass of a kind. And a circle too. People have tried to figure this one out for a long time now – and really, the way to beat the hourglass is to shake it while holding it horizontally. As for the circle around the hourglass, sooner or later there’s going to be a revolution. Unexpected, Ghost in the Machine style, protocols resulting. I solved this is what I’m really trying to say, but I’ll leave it KIND OF interpretive for those who want to chew on things for awhile. 🙂
A final note: I REALLY appreciate all the people who take the time to read this site and my blogs and Facebook. I wouldn’t BE HERE without all of you, and I know this well. So, thank you! I will still be blogging, please don’t stop reading, and please don’t unsubscribe. But, its going to be a little more sporadic now, I think – I have to refill the well, by living out in the world once more. Writing can be a very isolating thing, I think, and I need to work on balance in other areas again. I just flipped a paperclip into my coffee cup using the Chi while I’m typing this – so obviously, that base is covered. However, there are other mad skills to work on now to get back to the land of the living after my two year odyssey to become a writer, and a good one at that.
Thank you again, everyone and as always, please feel free to leave a comment in the box below. I never read my blogs after writing them. So, I myself am going back to read this site cover to cover over the next couple weeks. My attention span is very poor now. And, I need to work on handwriting, color theory and reading once more….I’m putting this picture one more time – because this, is all of you. Yes, I do read YOUR blogs too, and there are some VERY brilliant people out there!
