Today I’m thinking about string theory. I’m also thinking about music, and how it really could be the tie that binds. I’m not exactly a physics guy, a math guy either, but it seems to make good sense that music is pretty darn important out there. Hm.

I havent posted much lately, but this has been a week of secret discoveries. I stumbled onto the secret menu at Starbucks, accidentally wandered into the Beer Cave at a local gas station, and tapped into my own personal stash of recipes for excitement with reckless abandon.

There seems to be unbridled flamboyancy at the shop tonight, and patrons have a spring in their step. There are harbingers of great things everywhere, and eyes full of hope in the line for refills and the bathrooms.

It is almost Friday, perhaps this is why?

Further random thoughts… I had a great life talk this morning with a man who designed nuclear power plants for a living. He told me that in Brazil, they make blue prints by using certain kinds of paper, which when put in the sunlight transfer themselves as a copy from the sunlight. Put those papers in a box with ammonia, the catalyst, and the turn blue with white lettering and pictures.

This led me to think about theblindmansociety.com and how I write the words, sit in the morning sun, copious amounts of caffeine, the catalyst and POOF! the blogs appear. A weak extrapolation perhaps but it all makes good sense to me. 🙂

I was thinking today about a human beings ability to control time. If you want to speed it up, do what you love. Slow it down, do what you hate. Freezing it? Stand in front of the refrigerator at midnight with the door open. Time drags for the young, flies for the old…mix them and there is the balance and another hourglass. Thinking the big thoughts at the shop tonight!

I woke up this morning at 2:30am, and my roommate woke up shortly after and said I’m making food. By 3:30 am I was sitting in front of a plate of pork chops, baked potatoes and cheese, and steamed green beans with olive oil salt and pepper. I don’t know why, I bring this up – but it was just one of those random things that happens every now and again.

This leads me to think about other random things that happen every now and again. Like the next blog, on theblindmansociety.com! I’m working today on getting out a new one, and WOW am I rusty right now. Wicked writer’s block these days, and really having a hard time putting dos phrases together. Como now, brown cow, is about the best I came up with over a couple days stretch. Times are lean, my friends…

And, with that I’m going to conclude things here. I’m leaving readers with some wise words from Uncle Walt Whitman:

“This is what you shall do; Love the earth and sun and the animals, despise riches, give alms to every one that asks, stand up for the stupid and crazy, devote your income and labor to others, hate tyrants, argue not concerning God, have patience and indulgence toward the people, take off your hat to nothing known or unknown or to any man or number of men, go freely with powerful uneducated persons and with the young and with the mothers of families, read these leaves in the open air every season of every year of your life, re-examine all you have been told at school or church or in any book, dismiss whatever insults your own soul, and your very flesh shall be a great poem and have the richest fluency not only in its words but in the silent lines of its lips and face and between the lashes of your eyes and in every motion and joint of your body.”

You are the poem!
