Local artists have been at it again – there’s a band of painters going around improving parts of town, and I think to myself that if I ever have my own town or city, that I’m going to hire graffiti artists to go to work since that is THE COOLEST that I have ever seen.

Well, it feels like its 122 and 1/2 degrees out here, when IN FACT its only 105. I got reminded by Arizona natives to not whine about the heat, so I will be quiet. ![]()
Over at the shop today, thinking about many, many things. Hello Mr. Blackbird! What do you say there, Mr. Leaf? How is going Mr. Tree? What you talkin’ bout the flowerpot Peggy Pipe-cleaners?
The cast of coffee shop characters is strangely quiet today….
I’m thinking about metronomes, and I’m thinking about taking all negativity that I encounter and turning it into something positive. Lessons, self improvement, warning markers, mistakes – its an art form to navigate all these speed bumps and I’m honestly surprised nobody has written a book about threading the needle in this area. Of course, maybe the Chinese had this figured out 1000s of years ago with I Ching. Who can say. But, Jonathan! I fell down the stairs, how can you make that a positive thing. Easy! You got to the bottom faster – effective time management!
Rooftop gardens is what I’m really thinking about today though. I love these for the aesthetics, the positive environmental impacts, the benefits to air quality and the idea of wandering around the garden coming up with all kinds of witty things to use in my blog posts, being bold and striking with great grace and fortitude – proudly I would shine. I think I would pull a Chauncey Gardner, and espouse Garden Wisdom there, 12 stories above the ground. High altitude Garden Wisdom. Hm.
Below is a couple cool pictures of rooftop gardens out there. If you have the means, I would highly recommend doing one – along with solar panels. They are expensive, but you would be fine during power outages and helping the environment too! I personally am investing in a small generator because we lose power all the time where I live during hurricane season. Please see below….

Aren’t these cool? One day I’ll have one!
Have a great day out there, wherever you may be in the world and thank you so much for taking the time to read these blogs! As always, please feel free to leave a comment in the box below. Thanks!
