So, tonight, I’m going for the blog hat trick.  I’ve had two decent ones in the last two days, and since my internet is going to be spotty for a little while, I figured a third while I can is a good idea.

Happy Easter, everyone!  I’m going to be spending mine with some very special people this year.  There will be alcohol.  There will be fun.  There will be family.  And, there will be friends.

I was writing in my journal right now, that about one of the only things I take comfort in these days, when times are challenging, is the undefinable knowledge that things are happening the way they should be.  I’m glad I cannot define this – because, it might not measure up to my highly analytical expectations if I know what is really going on.  The older I get, the more I realize that its good to not figure everything out.

There are times, I catch myself looking skyward, and thanking whoever is up there – whatever you imagine that to be – for keeping an eye on me, and keeping me on the path.  I rarely have to remind myself anymore to be VERY grateful for what is in my life.  I talked about my flute, and the last year and a half journey.  The people I’ve met, the special ones in my life now and all the adventures that following one of my dreams yielded.  I feel a lot like Santiago out of the Alchemist.  Because, really that’s about how its worked.  And, now I stand here looking back, and realize just how blessed I and others are.  So, I’m taking a moment to give thanks.

As a parting thought here – and this is one that gets me out of bed in the morning excited every day now, is the knowledge that there are so many good, and unknown things waiting for all of us in this life.  I personally am glad I don’t know what is coming – because, knowing me I would probably screw it up somehow if I knew in advance.

I take comfort as a closing thought, in knowing that while living in the now is very important, tomorrow is also always better than today.

Take care, everyone – have a fantastic holiday if you celebrate Easter, and I hope this blog post finds you well, wherever you may be out there.  I’m borrowing an internet signal, legally of course, and getting mauled by mosquitos and hear dogs barking that are not on a leash. So, I’m concluding this fast and changing locations. As always, please feel free to leave a comment in the box below.
