Treading lightly in the positivity department after seeing the above picture! The caption reads: When a random dude comes up and tells me to smile while I’m having a bad day… 🙂
JOURNAL ENTRY:
It was after the writers block came on. All the bowling alleys were destroyed and there was no beer to drink…and I whiled away the days looking at the birds and thinking of you.
The above is my stab at a romantic greeting card. Which is to say, there is ZERO danger of me doing this for a living. In fact, I do have writer’s block. But, to the best of my knowledge all is otherwise right in the world.
Over at the shop early today – its 5am – and waiting for sunrise and the next hot blog post topic to come to me. I’ve been playing a lot of slide guitar lately, and a jam session tonight…this is going to be great.
I’m off of Taco Supremes for awhile, so there will be no Taco Tuesday for me. Instead, its Chex Snack Mix “bold and spicy” blend. I’ve written about handwriting and colors changing you…I’m wondering about food now. Hm….
I’m thinking about a four hour lunch, dramatically diving head first over a nativity scene on a snow covered lawn at night and playing 48 holes of frisbee golf in two feet of snow at 3am. There’s a restaurant here called George Webb’s for late night, posts bar eats and it has twin clocks in it. The clocks are one minute apart, and local lore has it that this was done because no restaurant here can be open 24 hours…so, one clock is always kept in reserve a minute off as a result of this.
Finally, I’m thinking about Christmas shopping this year. I always ask people if they are last minute shoppers or well in advance. They always ask me, which I am. I guess, I’m a recovering last minute shopper trying to change my evil procrastinating ways. Hm. So much to do, and so little time…
New stories are on the way, slightly more serious topics, and I hope that everyone out there reading has an incredible day! As always, please feel free to leave comments in the box below…
