I’ve been sitting here drinking my coffee and talking to Blowtorch Lady this morning, and stumbled onto an idea I would like to share with all of you…

The above image is what happens to water when chords or notes are played musically on a piano.  These water droplets go into different patterns when certain chords are played because of the vibrations.

There are many questions that could be asked about this phenomenon.  Are the patterns fixed every time, or are they random with the same starting point, but different outcomes?  Like snowflakes freezing and branching out into all kinds of wonderful, artistic and random patterns as they transform.  What does this do to the people or animals or bodies of water who hear or feel or consume while music is being played?  Does this translate to people and animals with conduct and behavior patterns as well?

Out here in the world, do people, who have one heck of a lot of water in them, respond the same way to certain chords and notes or is it simply a starting point for evoking emotion?  And, is it the same predictable emotional responses and measurable every time?

The Red Hot Chili Peppers have a song “Minor Thing” and one of the lyrics is “Its just a minor thing, and I’m a minor king.”  At least, I always feel like one when I listen to it.  So, following this train of thought, I’m presently wondering just what chords make YOU feel like royalty?  (I personally think I was a king of some kind in a previous life because I just love it when people do what I want, and even more-so when I listen to music.) And, a final question is, for how long do you feel like one after listening to the music? Were you drinking some kind of liquid while listening to it? Hm.

MAYBE, I’m on to something?  I’ll shut the heck up now and respectfully suggest people talk about this one by the water cooler.  However, given the questions posed in this blog post, I would not recommend playing Metallica anywhere near it and drinking charged and dancing water droplets because the outcome, as to what it will do to you, is totally unknown…

PS – Does the meaning of the music and emotion it evokes go into liquid before it is canned or bottled through these chord water patterns and responses? Does Bobby the wonder intern who is sitting and jamming his favorite music next to liquids being bottled KNOW just what he is putting into consumables for the public? Does the effect change, like a batch of beer that was made while Merv and the Magic-tones was playing next to it, vs one that had Pantera’s “Vulgar Display of Power” blaring?

Would love to hear your thoughts on this everyone! Please comment below…
