On the positivity campaign trail again this evening. Please see below, I’m shooting for the position of “Mr. Positivity Wizard” and per the Steve Jobs approach a one-dollar paycheck. Stock options would be nice though…

They say, that if you can’t spot the sucker at the card table in the first few hands, then YOU are the sucker. Conversely, if all around you is dark and you are seeing no light these days, maybe YOU are the light. So a respectful suggestion to anybody out there who is having a hard time right now – please consider this.

And then if you do, before long you too will be saying: Hello there Mr. Blackbird! What do you say there, Mr. Tree? How’s it going Mr. Leaf?

This idea kind of ties in, kind of, to the idea of Plutarch’s Lives.

I’m also thinking about Plutarch’s Lives which is essentially a bible of heroes. The books charted their backgrounds, rise to power, and the aftermath with a careful analysis. This led me to start thinking about all the people I have met, and just how many modern-day heroes are in that list. And, to assemble my own list of people who are heroes to me. The impact everyone has on each other’s lives…sometimes you just don’t even know how inspiring you are to someone, and it really sucks because most times, you never will. SO, my personal mission tonight (in the time it takes to drink two more cups of coffee because I got stuff going on) is to tell a few people the impact they have made on me.
